PASTORAL DEPARTMENT
We are servants/ slaves of Christ and we are ready at all time.
The main objective of the pastoral department of LIFCCOAN is to preach the gospel to the congregation. In other words, a pastor is someone who has been trained into ministry and who bears the burden of the church and God.
Some qualities of a good pastor in LIFCCOAN include: humility, integrity, accountability, self-control, leadership skills, patience, etc.
The main functions of a pastor in this ministry include
– Praying for the congregation of LIFCCOAN both publicly and privately
– Preparing for service i.e. the pastor prepares the congregation for work or service
– Preaching the gospel and applying it to the lives of the Christians of LIFCCOAN.
– Encourage the weaker sheep of LIFCCOAN
– Visit the sick and less privileged
