The intercession department of LIFCCOAN is a group of people who have dedicated their lives for the good and growth of the ministry. Their specific objective or goal is to pray for the church and others for God’s intervention.
Functions of intercessors in LIFCCOAN include:
– Praying for others: The intercede on behalf of the congregation, they also pray for lonely and hopeless people.
– Supporting: They support the Apostle’s vision and work as part of the pastor’s team
– Building a prayer force. They build and develop a prayer force within their congregation
– Leading the congregation in times of intercession
– Facilitating prayer meetings
Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and loves to pray can become an intercessor in LIFCCOAN. Nevertheless, a good intercessor in LIFCCOAN must have the following qualities:
– A good relationship with God and has received Christ as his Lord and Personal Savior
– Love and desire to pray at all times both for the church and the people for God’s will to be manifested
– Possess spiritual qualities such as courage, steadfastness, endurance, holiness and self-sacrifice
– Be compassionate for people around them and carry their burden
